A leader in the entertainment industry for over 30 years, Kerry McCluggage, former Chairman of the Paramount Television Group and President of Universal Television, has built an impressive career spanning all aspects of feature film and television development, production, programming, creative affairs and business development while bringing a number of seminal television series to fruition. While Mr. McCluggage headed the prime-time division, Universal established itself as a significant supplier of half-hour comedies such as “Coach” and “Major Dad”, and simultaneously generated a new crop of successful dramas including “Quantum Leap”, “Law & Order” and “Northern Exposure”. At Paramount, Mr. McCluggage shepherded the development and production of highly rated series such as the Emmy Award-winning “Frasier”. He was also instrumental in developing and/or managing several other top-rated series including: “Cheers”, “Wings”, “Becker”, “Deadwood”, “JAG”, “The Arsenio Hall Show” and “Dr. Phil”. He supervised feature film projects such as “Out of Africa” and “The Breakfast Club”.  He also developed the original screenplay for “Cocktail” starring Tom Cruise.
